I own the larger version of this tool and use it quite a bit on my work. I have wished for a smaller version of it for a while and Sorby finally came through. My initial impression of this tool was it looks very well built. The aluminum handle gives it a very industrial look. I thought the tool would be more expensive then it was. Plus Sorby tools were on sale when mine came in. The tool is very well built plus it has the coolness factor of having the red anodized aluminum handle. It came with 2 cutter wheels and 2 allen wrenches.

Pictured left Is the 2 cutter wheels The brass screw is knurled so you can change the wheels with out looking for an allen wrench.

My only dislike is the knurling on the handle feels a bit rough in my hand. I thought about putting it on the lathe and sanding it down a bit but that would ruin the color. I would also like to see the handle about 3 inches longer. I have started practicing with the tool and it does everything it is supposed to. The wheels are easily interchangeable and the angle is easily set. I will post some pictures later of some finished pieces.
